Office Cleaning in Central London
Contract office cleaning for corporate offices and serviced workspaces, from 20 hours a week. Every shift is clocked in and out on a GPS-verified app, so you only ever pay for hours that were actually worked on your site. Book a Free Site SurveyCall UsBuilt for facilities and office managers
We work with corporate offices, headquarters and serviced workspaces across central London on contracts from 20 hours a week. That minimum is deliberate: it lets us put the same, named team on your site every day rather than rotating strangers through your building.
If you are responsible for how the workplace looks and for justifying the cleaning invoice, everything below is something you can check, ask us to evidence, or see in a report.
You will know the cleaner turned up before you walk in
Every cleaner clocks in and out on site, on a GPS-verified app. Not a phone call from the car park. Not a signature added the next morning.
If a shift is missed, it is flagged to a supervisor that evening, not three days later when you email to ask why the bins are full. Most cleaning contracts rely on you noticing the problem. Ours does not.
More on how the system works: our cleaning staff tracking app and what happens when a shift is missed, in this case study.
What is in the contract and what you never have to think about
Included as standard
- Desks, hot desks and meeting rooms
- Washrooms, restocked every visit
- Kitchens, breakout areas and dishwashers emptied
- Floors vacuumed, mopped or buffed to suit the surface
- Reception, glass doors and internal glazing
- Bins emptied and waste taken to your bin store
- Touch points: handles, switches, lift buttons, rails
We supply it, not you
- All cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Consumables: soap, paper, bin liners
- PPE for every cleaner on site
- Vacuums, machines and their servicing
- Cover for holiday and sickness
- Supervisor visits and quality checks
You do not order stock, chase deliveries or keep a cupboard stocked. If we run something down, that is our problem to fix before you notice it.
Who we let into your building
You are not buying cleaning. You are giving somebody keys and an alarm code. Every person who works on your site goes through the same five stages before their first shift.
Application and right to work
Identity and right-to-work documents checked and recorded before anything else happens.
Interview
Face to face, not a phone screen. We want to know how somebody handles being alone in a building at 7pm.
References
Taken up and confirmed with the previous employer, not just collected.
DBS where your site requires it
If your building, sector or insurer requires DBS-checked staff, we arrange it before the cleaner starts. Tell us at the survey stage and it is built into the mobilisation plan.
Trial clean, then a probation period
A supervised first clean, then up to three months' probation. People who cannot hold the standard do not stay on your contract.
Cleaners are trained on COSHH, colour-coded equipment and safe use of every chemical they touch. Training is refreshed, not filed once and forgotten.
A second pair of eyes on your building
Your cleaners are in the building when nobody else is. They see the things that turn into invoices later.
- A tap left running or a slow leak under a kitchen unit
- A radiator or air-con unit that has stopped
- A fire door propped open or an exit route blocked
- A blown light, a loose handle, a lift button that sticks
- A window left open on the third floor overnight
- Damp, a stain spreading on a ceiling tile, a smell that was not there last week
Anything our team finds is photographed and sent to your named contact the same shift. No form to chase, no monthly report you have to read to find out. If it needs you to act tonight, you hear about it tonight.
Changing provider does not have to mean changing your cleaners
If you already have a cleaning team on site, TUPE almost certainly applies. That is not a reason to stay with a provider who is letting you down. It is a process, and it is one we run rather than one you have to project-manage.
We handle the consultation, the employee liability information, the transfer of terms and the first-week handover. Your team keeps their jobs and their terms. You change who manages them.
Full explanation, written for people who have never done one: what is TUPE, a simple guide for businesses.
Cleaning around your working day, not through it
Nobody wants a vacuum running during a client call. We build the rota around when your building is quiet, and around what your landlord or building manager allows.
- Access, keys, fobs and alarm codes agreed in writing before the first shift
- Named cleaners on your site, not a different face every week
- Sign-in with your building's reception or security, however they run it
- Clock-in and clock-out recorded on the app, so the hours you pay for are the hours worked
Already under contract? Most offices are. Notice periods with an existing provider are usually one month, sometimes three. Tell us your notice date at the survey and we plan the mobilisation backwards from it, so there is no gap and no overlap you pay twice for.

The paperwork behind the cleaning
Living Wage employer
We are an accredited Living Wage Foundation employer. Cleaners who are paid properly stay in the job, and a team that stays is a team that knows your building. Why that matters for your contract.
Employers' Liability £10m
Employers' Liability insured to £10 million. Public and Products Liability are both in place. Certificates provided on request, and with the tender pack if you need them for procurement.
Health & safety, done in writing
Risk assessments and method statements for your site before the first shift. COSHH data sheets for every product. Colour-coded equipment so a washroom cloth never reaches a kitchen surface.
A named contact, not a call centre
One person who knows your building, your access rules and your rota. You do not re-explain your site every time you pick up the phone.
Where we cover in London
We are building our London operation around central postcodes we can reach and supervise properly, rather than claiming the whole M25 and turning up late.
- City of London EC1–EC4
- Holborn WC1
- Covent Garden WC2
- Farringdon
- Clerkenwell
- Shoreditch EC2A
Just outside these postcodes? Ask anyway. If we can supervise it to the standard we want, we will quote it. If we cannot, we will tell you straight rather than take the contract and let it slide.
Companies we clean for
We have looked after offices, schools, gyms and hospitality sites since 2016, with a five-star rating on Google and an Excellent rating on Trustpilot. Magic Broom Cleaning Ltd was incorporated in 2022. The London operation is new; the experience behind it is not.
Our reviews
These reviews are from the offices, schools and gyms we look after today. The London contracts are new; the standard behind them is not, and it is the same team of owners running both.
Questions we get asked before signing
How do I know the cleaners actually turned up?
Every cleaner clocks in and out on site using a GPS-verified app. A missed or short shift is flagged to a supervisor the same evening. You are not relying on a signature in a folder by the door.
What does it cost?
We do not publish an hourly rate, because a 400 sq ft studio and a 12,000 sq ft floor are not the same job. We do a free site survey, then send a written quote with the hours, the frequency and the scope set out in full. No rate that changes once you have signed.
Is there a minimum contract?
Yes — 20 hours a week. Below that we cannot keep the same named cleaners on your site, and a rotating team is exactly the problem most people are trying to get away from. If you need less than that, we would rather tell you now than take the contract and disappoint you.
How quickly can you start?
That usually depends on you, not on us. Most offices are inside a notice period with their current provider, typically one month, sometimes three. Tell us the notice date at the survey and we build the mobilisation plan backwards from it, so your new team starts the morning after the old contract ends.
We already have cleaners. Can we still switch?
Yes, and in most cases TUPE applies, which means your existing team transfers to us on their current terms. We run the consultation and the paperwork. There is a full guide here.
Do we have to provide anything?
No. Chemicals, equipment, consumables and PPE are all included and restocked by us. You provide access and somewhere to store the equipment.
Are your cleaners DBS checked?
Where your site, sector or insurer requires DBS-checked staff, we arrange it before anyone starts on your contract. Every cleaner goes through identity and right-to-work checks, an interview, confirmed references, a trial clean and a probation period as standard.
What happens if the standard slips?
You tell your named contact, and it is put right on the next shift. Supervisor visits and quality checks are part of the contract, not an extra. If a problem repeats, we change the rota or the people. We do not send you a report explaining why it keeps happening.
